This August 2013 support gig was a pinch-yourself moment. I studied jazz at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, and Manhattan Transfer’s version of “Birdland” was seminal. And given the chance to support them (like I’d even say no) I was able to witness The Manhattan Transfer perform this song live. Here are some exclusive photos from my camera.
